Long two years.
I cried when Obama won the election. So happy, so proud to be an American. It’s been mostly bad since then. I guess I underestimated just how ugly and ignorant it would get. I know it is the last desperate gasp of those who believe themselves to be God’s chosen elite - a pathetic delusion, in any event; it’s rich people who rule - but it is painful and discouraging to be living through this tide of bullshit and hatred. The glorification of the stupid, writ large.
